IQAI is providing consulting services on establishment and implementation of a quality assurance (QA) and management system to various internationally recognized QA/management system standards, such as ISO 9001/13485/14001, TS-16949, FDA cGMP, HACCP, ASME. IQAI helps its clients in the most appropriate way to be value-added to each of them, using the IQAI’s original method developed in the 1980s.

The consultant to be sent by IQAI to clients is “QA/QM Consultant” qualified in accordance with IQAI’s qualification program.

IQAI is conducting management system audits. It includes conformance/compliance audits, supplier audits, and assistance in internal audits as follows:

? Conformance/Compliance Audits

IQAI is conducting conformance/compliance audits to any of the internationally recognized management system standards and/or regulations, such as ISO 9001/13485/14001, TS-16949, FDA cGMP, HACCP, and ASME Codes, as applicable.

Upon request of the client, IQAI conducts also the audits to determine the maturity and effectiveness of the management system based on the IQAI’s unique audit standard and criteria. To the client that was verified to be at the acceptable level of effectiveness and defined maturity of the system after such audits, a certificate will be issued.

? Supplier Audits

IQAI conducts supplier audits at the request of each client based on the applicable requirements and audit criteria.

? Assistance in Internal Audits

IQAI will help the client in its internal audit not only for verification of conformance/compliance to its in-house manuals and procedures, but also for determination of the effectiveness and efficiency of operating processes as well as the maturity level of the existing management system. Also, the IQAI’s Auditors will provide an on-the-job training for the client’s program manager and internal auditors as well.

All these audits are to be conducted by the first level IQAI approved “QA Auditors” in accordance with the IQAI’s unique qualification program.

? Qualification of “IQAI Approved QA Auditors”

IQAI’s Auditors conducting “QA Certification Audits” are required to be genuine professionals specialized in quality assurance (QA) and management system auditing. Therefore, IQAI is qualifying the “IQAI Approved QA Auditors” to its criteria after successfully completing IQAI’s special training courses and examination, which were developed covering also the criteria of the Body of Knowledge of ASQ CQA.

? Qualification of “QA/QM Consultants”

The consulting services to organizations for their management system establishment and maintenance are very serious business requiring conscience and strong sense of responsibility. The consultant should not only help the client get certified to the applicable standard, e. g. ISO 9001/14001, but also teach the client the most appropriate methods and techniques useful for the effectiveness and efficiency of their management, saving them from incurring unnecessary costs.

IQAI has established and started its QA consultant qualification program in September 1995, for selecting and qualifying really competent professionals based on high level qualification criteria. For qualification, nonesuch high level criteria are being used. Such criteria are those Akio Miura, Chair of IQAI, has provided to International Auditor Training and Certification Association (IATCA) as the basic data for their international qualification program when he was nominated as a member of the Consultant Qualification Committee in 1997.
